ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

Called, equipped, and set ablaze.

A private theological institute in Hueytown, Alabama — devoted to preparing men and women for the work of ministry through accelerated Biblical studies.

ACCREDITATION & LEGAL STATUS

“A watchman on the wall.”

An accrediting organization serves as a watchman on the wall. To accredit is to give trust or confidence to, to vouch for, to recommend, and to furnish with credentials. Not every accrediting body is the same; each focuses on different areas of accreditation.

R. A. Hudson Theological Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission International (ACI), an international accrediting commission whose primary objective is to encourage and maintain sound scholarship and the highest academic achievement in private education. Its purpose is the preparation of quality education in private schools, colleges, and theological seminaries.

ACI is a non-governmental body and makes no claim to be connected with any government. Coursework completed at this institution is not federally recognized, and credits are not awarded under the U.S. Department of Education.

Transfer of Credit & Employment

A degree covers the major taken with that degree. Credits earned in one type of program may or may not transfer to another program; transferability is determined solely by the receiving institution. The job market is highly competitive and many fields require specialized certification, so a graduate in one field may have difficulty being hired in a field for which they are not certified.

Student Acknowledgment. By signing the enrollment form, the student acknowledges receipt of the Student Handbook and understanding of the type of degree for which they have applied. Neither ACI nor R. A. Hudson Theological Institute, Inc. is responsible for the student's employment goals.
