Who is eligible to apply?

Any called man or woman age 17 or older may apply. A high school diploma or equivalent is recommended for degree programs. Certificate study is open admissions.

Is the Institute accredited?

Yes. R. A. Hudson Theological Institute is accredited through the Accrediting Commission International (ACI). Coursework is not federally recognized and does not qualify for federal student aid.

How long does each program take?

The academic year consists of three semesters, with five courses completed per year — approximately nine months per level. Each course carries 30 credit hours.

What is the cost?

Is the program available online or in-person?

All courses are conducted 100% online with live, camera-on instruction until the Institute announces otherwise. Students may attend from anywhere while remaining fully connected to their cohort, professors, and chapel life.

When does Fall 2026 enrollment open?

Enrollment for the Fall 2026 term opens Monday, July 20, 2026 for all programs — Certificate, Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral. Applications submitted before that date are held and reviewed on opening day.

Each course has a required reading list provided at registration. Many texts are drawn from a standard ministerial library — see the Resources page.

How long after I apply will I hear back?

Our admissions office reviews every complete application within ten business days. You will be contacted by phone or email with the decision.
